This Wednesday--Record Release Party!

This Wednesday night, November 28, Schuba's (Belmont & Southport in Chicago) is the place to be.

The occasion? A celebration of the release of Lou Carlozo's new album, Stick Figure Soul, on the Apart Arts label.

Beginning at 6:30 PM we'll be throwing down in style. Early arrivals will get FREE Apart pizza (yum!) and record-spinning from yours truly and Carlos O. The live music begins at 7:30 with local troubador Ross Copperman. The Spares play at 7:45. Carlos and I spin after them until 9:00, when Lou and his band take the stage.

And once Lou has played you the songs that make up his lovely new hard-pop release, and convinced you that he is the MAN, hang around as Carlos and I play more vintage records for your listening and dancing pleasure!

So you get three acts, free pizza (if you arrive early), a smoke-free room, and two DJs at your service--all for eight bucks! There ain't a better deal in town.

I recommend reserving tickets in advance by calling 773-525-2508, or by visiting Schuba's. We all hope like mad to see you.

Peace!

Stu
