Tommy James became a Christian in 1967. One of his solo albums was called 'Christian of the World,' released in (I think) 1970. He's still a Christian, but has no problem doing his old material.

Hey,
Got to see TJ at some State Street festival in June of '99 or '00. He was great - sounded good, did a great show, excellent tunes. However, he was sporting this HORRENDOUS comb-over that, with the downtown wind, proved somewhat distracting.
