I had to go back and listen to that Daft Punk track again. "Discovery" is a great album - they were gearing up to be the electronic Ween with that record. Something About Us and Nightvision are perfect examples of their homage / parody. Too bad their new record is a bit disappointing, IMO.

Also: make me a copy, Stu!

Do we have to discern what they have in common? :)

BTW, that's "Blue Yodel No. 1..." (Rodgers had his first hit with that song, and did several others).

And "Love Song for the Dead Che" is a terrific song! USA certainly were eclectic.

Too far behind on discovering anything new, or old stuff I should know. Or reading your blog. Or much of anything. Who's Daft Punk? You crazy youngsters and your music.

Sort of getting into Rilo Kiley, like what I hear on Launchcast. The CD I got off Ebay was Kate Campbell's "Visions of Plenty", not anything by Boy George as surmised... her "Jesus and Tomatoes" is a classic.
