Let's Play Catch-Up!

Stuff happening soon...

*Beatlefest, this weekend. Hyatt Regency O'Hare. Music, food, drink, and...plus, I have an article coming up in this Friday's Chicago Tribune--which is about Beatlefest, believe it or not!

*Captain Blood Orchestra gigs to be announced soon...

*Hopefully, a DJ appearance soon as well.

Question of the day: what's the song you can't get out of your head today? For me, it's either The Flares' "Foot Stomping" or Gary Lewis' "Count Me In."

"Walk on By" as sung by Dionne Warwick
has been percolating inside my skull all morning.

I'm sure I'll come up with a few more before the day is through.

Tell any of my old Beatlefester chums that I say "Hi!!" and "This message is dedicated with love to Hare Georgeson" and "All you need is Glove"

I swear, one of these years I'm going to get back to Chicago for a proper Beatlefest... I mean.. the "Fest for Beatles fans"

because you had to go and ask the question...

The other song that has infiltrated my brain is the Star Wars theme by Meco.

"Darling, Don't Put Your Hands on Me" by Norm Burns, although I'm actually hearing the version Stu and I did, in my head right now.

On another subject, what exactly are these "White Sox" and what is this "American League" you speak of, Amy? Some sort of Soccer organization?

"Double Shot of My Baby's Love," Swingin' Medallions, I believe. It's been on heavy rotation in my head for about six weeks now - time to change formats?
